Our Business

As Dubai’s real estate industry grew post the introduction of freehold ownership laws in 2002 it became increasingly evident to Realpoint’s founders that in the maturing market there was going to be a growing need for independent expert advice and services.

Following the introduction of Dubai’s Escrow Law in 2007 came the opportunity to provide independent project monitoring to protect investors. To support this in 2008 the business was established (then called Screampoint Property Observer) with its office based in Dubai, UAE. Then to work exclusively with Dubai’s Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA) to independently monitor and track construction progress and to provide technical expertise to Escrow development projects.

Over 3 years working with RERA Realpoint gained a unique insight and knowledge on real estate and development in the region. What works and more importantly what does not. We also gained exposure working alongside and tracking the projects of all the main developers in Dubai.

As part of this RERA commission Realpoint developed one of the regions first 5D Digital City platforms for managing inspections, client reporting, providing analysis and visualisation of the large amounts of information obtained during our property inspections. Today we continue to develop and use a combination of market leading and our own ‘in-house’ developed technology in support our our services and clients. These include advanced real estate asset databases, latest survey and inspection technology including BIM systems.

With this local development knowledge and an full appreciation of the entire property lifecycle we now manage new build and refurbishment development projects on behalf of our clients.

The business has expanded its services to include a wide range of clients and now works on a variety of real estate commissions from individual unit inspections to development of high-rise towers. We also work throughout the UAE and Middle East region with several Government clients in a consultancy and advisory role.

The business is a Regulated Royal Institution Of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) firm and as such is recognised for its professional standards within this internationally leading real estate body. At the core of the business are our UK qualified, RICS Chartered Building Surveyors. There are only a small number of these highly skilled professionals in the Middle East and they bring to Realpoint a range of unique technical, management and inspection skills. Add to these our credentials of having RICS Registered valuation experts and it is evident that Realpoint is highly qualified and in a leading market position to be able to work with our clients to advise, deliver services and add value to our clients.

We pride ourselves on our pioneering approach, quality of service, innovation and attention to detail. Ultimately in all that we do we deliver value to our clients.
